L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele Pompei

Amazing, authentic Neapolitan pizza! The portions were generous and it was absolutely delicious—just what we needed after a long morning exploring the ruins. The service was quick and efficient, and we were lucky to get a seat with a view of the pizza oven. Watching the pizzaiolo craftsmanship at work was the treat itself too! Really good prices for the very touristic place like Pompei! Highly recommend!

With Michele you are never wrong - the pizza as usual massive and delicious, speedy service and affordable prices, prime location very close to the pompeii sanctuary, bus stops and train station.

Excellent pizza, simple but nice restaurant and friendly service. The pizzas are very large but really excellent, thin base, wonderful toppings and very tasty. I would like to visit this place much more often, but it's a little too far to come from England. If you live or are within a few kilometres, give it a try!

No wait and plenty of tables compared to the long wait in Naples. Staff were so nice in recommending what to order. We got Margherita with bufala (double cause we wanted more cheese) and staff recommended Pepe with pecorino (the contrast in cheeses was amazing).

A great visit to a great pizzeria. Having been to a few L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele’s now since meeting the owners a few years ago by chance, I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience at any of the ones I have been to. It has become a personal challenge now to go to as many of them as possible, this was number five and was well worth the wait. We were the first in the restaurant as it opened, the staff were welcoming and helpful as well as attentive throughout the meal. I would 100% recommend this pizzeria to anyone in Pompeii for the day, or, if like me you’re visiting a few of them . Thank you.

The famous Da Michele pizza but without a huge line. We walked and sat down with zero wait. Huge hack instead of going to Da Michele in Napoli where there is a crazy line. Come here before or after Pompei ruins / museum which is just a few minutes drive away! Ask for Mr Cazzarella.

We tried to eat at the Original Naples location and that line up was too long. So happy we were staying in Pompei and they happened to have a location there as well. My wife had the margherita con buffala and I had the diavola both were very big and we did not finish and they were nice enough to give us a box to take it home. The wait to order is normal I since it was pretty busy.

Great food, service and prices were very reasonable. Much better choice than the restaurants closer to the ruins.
